The calm street is located in the quarter of Moabit which belongs to Berlin-Mitte.
Moabit is a kind of "island". Due to its geographical location the Moabit citizens are very often accompanied by nice watersides from the river Spree and several channels (Berlin-Spandauer Schifffahrtskanal, Westhafenkanal and Charlottenburger Verbindungskanal). More than 25 bridges connect Moabit with the bordering districts. The district can be considered as very central.
