Location
Berlin-Friedrichshain is central, hip and creative. In Friedrichshain, there is still a lot of remembrance of the structures of the former GDR workers' district. Gradually, the quarters in Friedrichshain changed their image. The old warehouses and cold stores on the banks of the Spree, the Stalin buildings of Karl-Marx-Avenue or the prefabricated concrete buildings in the west of the district have been renovated or replaced. Friedrichshain has always reinvented itself in its history. In the bombings of the Second World War, many neighbourhood structures were lost and reconstruction in the eastern part of Berlin started very late. At the same time, the magnificent Stalinist buildings along Karl-Marx- and Frankfurter Allee were built.
Throughout Friedrichshain, the demand for apartments is enormous. The district is centrally located and offers ideal transport connections in all directions. The neighborhoods around Boxhagener and Revaler Straße, Warschauer Straße and Frankfurter Allee are very popular. The Simon-Dach-Straße and side streets attract hundreds of bars, clubs, pubs and restaurants, attracting local and international guests. In addition, there is strong demand for the north district in the Samaritan quarter and the residential areas along Warschauer Straße.
