Berlin-Zehlendorf: Invest in a 4-room apartment in a very good location
Welcome to the Dahlem green Quarter. The airy residential ensemble from the 1960s surrounds a park-like property of approx. 14,000 square metres with beautifully landscaped flower beds, trees, paths and parking spaces. Shifted building volumes and different building heights give the ensemble a lively character. In 2016/ 2017 some buildings were supplemented by anthracite-coloured penthouses and designed with light-coloured plastered facades, which underlines the modern character of the residential complex. The apartment sizes range between 100 sqm and 130 sqm. The modern and well-designed apartments have 3 to 4 rooms and mostly large balconies. The 4-room apartments have a guest WC. Vestibule, wardrope, guest WC as well as large living rooms with adjoining, half-open kitchen are typical floor plan features from the construction period. Bright built-in cupboards create storage space in almost all apartments.

Location
The residential ensemble is located in one of the most sought-after and prosperous residential areas in the southwest of Berlin, in the midst of villas, family houses, American-style bungalow buildings, townhouses and many parks. Settlements of the American armed forces from the 1950s to 1960s and the bungalows of the Max Planck Institute, built in 1970 by the VW Foundation, characterize the immediate neighborhood.
Dahlem is particularly attractive in terms of its landscape. It lies idyllically between the districts of Zehlendorf, Steglitz and the Lichterfelde villa colony as well as the Grunewald forest and is embedded in the parkland of the Dreipfuhlpark and Thielpark. The Botanical Garden with its 22,000 plant species is also not far away.
Dahlem is not only scenic. It also home to many research institutions, museums, and the Free University of Berlin (FU Berlin) with its approximately 40,000 students. The Max Planck Institute is located in the immediate vicinity. Overall the educational opportunities are very good. An international kindergarten is located about 100 meters from the property. Many other kindergardens and three primary schools are nearby. The international John-F.- Kennedy School is located in the neighbouring district of Zehlendorf.
The underground line U3 connects Dahlem directly with Kurfürstendamm, Wittenbergplatz and Tauentzien, as well as with the districts Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain. Various bus lines pass on Clayallee and the highway connection Zehlendorf (A115) can be reached in 13 minutes.
