The quarter of Weißensee belongs to the district of Pankow in the northern part of Berlin, but is very close to the fashionable quarter Prenzlauer Berg. The area around the condominium consists of refurbished little buildings of the period around 1900, different from the huge housing development further to the south at Wisbyer Straße or Ostseeestraße. The nice courtyards with small houses and former business courtyards have attracted many artists for their activities. The area with connected courtyards, former stables, garages and carriage sheds is protected by the preservation statute "Weißenseer Spitze".
In Ostseestraße, 5 minutes away, one finds all kinds of shops and supermarkets for every day need. Very close to the property is located a large playground for children. By tram one reaches easily Alexanderplatz or the underground-station Eberswalder Straße.
