Location

The Graefekiez is one of the most international neighborhoods in Berlin. It is a very high-value and extremely popular residential environment. Already in the mid-1990s, the neighborhood between the Landwehr Canal developed into Kreuzberg bohemia. Many bars and restaurants line Graefestraße in the section between Urbanstraße and Kottbusser Brücke. On the other side of Kottbusser Straße are the hip nightlife areas of Kreuzkölln. The Landwehrkanal is home to some of the best restaurants in Berlin, and nearby Grimmstrasse is a focal point for young families. The public park Hasenheide with ideal running tracks and the Tempelhofer Freiheit can be reached in a few minutes. Various supermarkets, late-night grocery stores (Spätis), organic food chains and specialized stores are distributed within a radius of 2 kilometers.
